The proxSafe® Series: Maxx & Flexx The Maxx is a compact, 6U steel cabinet featuring an automatic roller shutter for double tamper protection, ideal for managing diverse key bunches via a central terminal. In contrast, the Flexx offers a modular, scalable design that expands from 16 to thousands of slots, utilizing interchangeable panels for keys, ISO cards, or radio devices. Both systems utilize RFID keyTags and illuminated, interlocked slots to ensure only authorized users can remove keys, combining high-security hardware with seamless user identification.

Panels
Modular KeyPanels & ISO 8 Panel Both Flexx and Maxx cabinets utilize modular KeyPanels with illuminated, interlocked slots to ensure keys remain double-protected against tampering. Available in various densities—from 8 and 16 slots for large bunches to 32 for individual keys—these interchangeable panels allow systems to scale seamlessly from 8 to thousands of keys. For specialized needs, the ISO 8 Panel provides eight secure, tamper-proof slots for ID-1 format cards (such as fuel or access cards). Both systems support optional RFID tracking and management via Commander Connect software for maximum oversight.
Terminals
The proxSafe® C4+ and C6+ operating terminals are compatible with all proxSafe® key management systems, including maxx and flexx. Both terminals support user authentication via RFID credential (card/transponder) or PIN, with the C6+ also offering an optional multi-technology reader for existing access cards. Setup is done using an administrator ID card. The C4+ features a backlit keypad and display with intelligent power management, while the C6+ offers a convenient 5.7" color touch panel with Unicode display and network/standalone capability. Both enable fast key return and easy operation.

Accessories
A range of accessories ensures secure and efficient key organization. RFID keyTags attach to keys using tamper-proof one-time seals, which can only be removed with special unsealing pliers. Each keyTag stores key data on an integrated RFID chip that transmits reliably even when dirty, oily, or wet. Available in five colours, the tags allow quick visual classification by user group or security level. The unsealing pliers feature a large handle for easy, authorized removal of seals with minimal effort.
